From ancient Greek and Roman civilizations to Italian Renaissance, France shares common civilization with other European countries. At the same time, France is a country that has enormously influenced on other European countries from the French Revolution to the present day since the Bourbon dynasty in the 17th century. Thus, for deeper understanding of today's French society and culture, it is essential to understand historical and current correlation between French and European culture. Through this, we will practice the professional perspective to grasp present socio-cultural situation of France and Europe.
